Firstbeat Life Measurement licenses

New possibilities to edit the measurement license lengths!

When assigning the products to people, you can edit the measurement license length by pressing Edit.

Select the length of initial subscription period from the first slide selector. An invoice of the initial period will be generated when the user activates the license.

Measurement license won’t renew if you select Non-renewing.

Select Auto-renewing if you want the measurement license to renew after the initial period. After that you get to choose how long subcsription will the initial period update to. Measurement license will automatically renew itself after the second subscription period if not set to be non-renewing.

Longer continuous measurement license subscriptions will be cheaper monthly than shorter license subscriptions. For example, the 12-month subscription license is cheaper monthly than 3-month subscription license.

Remember to press Save when you have done wanted changes to the measurement license.

You can set the license to be non-renewing by following these instructions.

Example 1:

Picture below shows that the initial measurement license subscription period is set to be six month and it will start from the moment when user activates the license.
After six months the license will be updated and invoiced for the three-month period.
After that it will automatically renew itself to three-month periods until it will be set to be non-renewing.

Example 2: As in picture below the measurement license subscription initial period will be 12 months and after that it will be updated and renewed as monthly license.

Firstbeat Life Starter Package for Service Providers

Use this product.

Single-use product which gives end-user a license to order the measurement device and electrodes via Firstbeat Life mobile application. Product is invoiced once the user activates the product license. Product is activated as the end-user registers to the service and activates the licenses in the mobile application either with license code or automatically. Product can not be removed from the end-user after end-user has activated the product. Product can't be cancelled from the product pool as it has been added there while adding the licenses to end-user.

Starter packages can be removed from the end-user even if they are activated, but the end-user hasn’t ordered the device. Invoice is still however created every time end-user activates the license when registering to Firstbeat Life.

Firstbeat Life Starter Package

Cannot be purchased anymore. This product is not visible if you don't have pre-purchased it or assigned it to any end-users.

Single-use product which gives end-user a license to order the measurement device and electrodes via Firstbeat Life mobile application. Product is invoiced once as it is granted to the end user or bought to the product pool. Product is activated as the end-user registers to the service and activates the licenses in the mobile application either with license code or automatically. Product can not be removed from the end-user after end-user has activated the product. Product can't be cancelled from the product pool as it has been added there.

Firstbeat Life 1-month subscription for Service Providers

License can be granted to end-user(s) as auto-renewing or non-renewing. Licenses are invoiced only after they have been activated by the end-user. If the provider has pre-purchased licenses in the product pool, those licenses won’t be invoiced second time when assigned to end-user and end-user takes it into use, but will create an invoice as they are renewed for the first time.

Measurement licenses can be removed from end-users, but they won’t be returning to product pool. Licenses can be also set to non-renewing, so they won’t renew for another subscription period. License renewal is based on when the end-user activates the license in the new assignments. Use cases can be found below FAQ.

License renewal date is based on the date the end-user activates the license. E.g. end-user is assigned with licenses on 1st of May but they activate the license on 3rd of May. Then the license will renew and add invoice every 3rd day of oncoming months. Invoice will be composed to one single invoice once in a month like previously.

Licenses also have 30-day grant period. If the end-user doesn’t take the licenses into use within 30 days, the licenses will return to project product pool if they are already pre-purchased. If license is not pre-purchased it will simply be removed from the system.

Firstbeat Life - 12-month subscription

12-month measurement license which grants user a license to make measurements via Firstbeat Life mobile application for 12 months after the user has activated the license. System automatically creates an invoice when the user activates the license and the invoice covers for the whole 12 month period. License will be automatically renewed if it's renewal isn't changed during 12 months.

Product will be removed from the project's product pool when removed from the end-user.

Firstbeat Life - Monthly subscription

(Previously Firstbeat Life - 1-month subscription)

Continuous monthly renewing measurement license which grants user a license to make measurements via Firstbeat Life mobile application until the product is removed from the user. Product is invoiced once in a month as long as it is in the product pool. System automatically adds correct amount of products to project's product pool as the products are added while adding end-users.
